Brandi passante became an overnight star after her performance on the reality show 'StorageWars' on A&E. The show also included Jarrod Schulz who was her boyfriend of many years and now husband. Storage lockers whose owners haven't paid their rent for the past three months, are auctioned off during the show. Brandi and Jarrod, who are the owners of and operate the "Now and Then thrift store located in Orange, California, participated on the show with the desire to purchase storage units for low prices. They had no idea of the potential to make them superstars in real life! Through the course of the show, the couple emerged as stars. Their success in the show's reality competition helped them expand their company. They also opened a second location in addition to the one that they had already run. Their 'Storage War' appearance was the catalyst for a spinoff titled 'Brandi & Jarrod married to work, that focused on the couple.
