Kyra Minturn Sedgwick is a famous American television and big-screen actress. Her name is well-known throughout the world especially in America. Sedgwick has been attracted to the arts, acting and Broadway from the time she was twelve. Sedgwick first heard about Broadway from her mother. Sedgwick's first acting job was on a TV show known as 'AnotherWorld. It was when she was just aged 16. Her desire was to become a well-known actor, not just small TV roles that first attracted her. Sedgwick became a household name in American television for her outstanding role in "The Closer" the seven-season T.V. show that won her the Golden Globe Award and Emmy.
