Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America She is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, physician, a Thelma Brennell Henson. When she was a teenager, she was a pro at the piano. At only 13 years old she was crowned the winner of an international competition at the Chicago Music Festival. When she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado she settled with her family. She finished the schooling at Fort Collins High School and graduated in 1960.
