Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was made by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor's' Workshop located in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of the year 2013.
